You Can’t Hide Your Love Forever reached number 21 on the UK Albums Chart and is a landmark of the Scottish post-punk scene, blending angular guitars with an upbeat, optimistic sensibility that would later be called indie pop.
The band was led by Edwyn Collins, who went on to a successful solo career.
