Dirk Wears White Sox is the debut studio album by London post-punk band Adam & the Ants, released on Do It Records in 1979. It reached number two on the UK Albums Chart on its 2004 remaster release and is an influential document of the UK post-punk scene, predating the band’s subsequent commercial breakthrough with the tribal pop of Kings of the Wild Frontier. The album showcases a rawer, darker side of Adam Ant’s songwriting.
