About Win
Win were an Edinburgh pop group formed by former Fire Engines members Davy Henderson and Russell Burn. Their bright, tightly arranged music brought guitars, keyboards and dance rhythms together while Henderson’s lyrics kept a sceptical eye on advertising, ambition and consumer culture.

The single “You’ve Got the Power” reached a wide audience through a lager advert, a fittingly complicated route for a song alert to the language of persuasion. Albums Uh! Tears Baby (A Trash Icon) and Freaky Trigger preserve the band’s distinctive collision of polish, wit and restless invention.
