About White Lies

White Lies are a West London trio formed by Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave and Jack Lawrence-Brown after their earlier band Fear of Flying. Their 2009 debut To Lose My Life… set McVeigh’s deep voice against urgent bass, bright synthesisers and widescreen choruses. Subsequent records have kept that post-punk tension while widening the band’s electronic and melodic range.
