About The Move
The Move were a British rock band formed in Birmingham in 1965 and led for much of their career by Roy Wood. Their run of UK hit singles mixed psychedelic pop, hard-rock energy and sharp melodic instincts, while the group’s later evolution helped lead directly to the formation of Electric Light Orchestra.
