About Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are an Australian-founded alternative rock band formed in Melbourne in 1983. Centred on Nick Cave and long-time collaborator Warren Ellis, the group have moved from gothic post-punk ferocity through murder ballads, piano-led laments and expansive spiritual meditations, with albums such as From Her to Eternity, The Boatman’s Call, Push the Sky Away, Ghosteen and Wild God showing their continued reinvention.
