About Muse

Muse formed in Teignmouth, Devon, in 1994 and remain the trio of Matt Bellamy, Chris Wolstenholme and Dominic Howard. Their music expanded from the tense alternative rock of Showbiz into the classical sweep of Origin of Symmetry and Absolution, then absorbed electronic pop, progressive structures and stadium-scale production. “Sing for Absolution” captures the dramatic control at the heart of that evolution.
