About Magazine

Magazine formed after Howard Devoto left Buzzcocks and pursued a more expansive musical language with guitarist John McGeoch, bassist Barry Adamson, keyboard player Dave Formula and drummer John Doyle. Their songs replace punk’s direct attack with tension, space and unsettling sophistication.
