About Frankie Goes To Hollywood

Frankie Goes To Hollywood formed in Liverpool around Holly Johnson, Paul Rutherford, Brian Nash, Mark O’Toole and Peter Gill. Signed to ZTT, they became a defining British pop act of 1984: Trevor Horn’s spectacular production and Paul Morley’s campaigns amplified “Relax”, “Two Tribes” and “The Power of Love”. Two studio albums captured different sides of the group before their late-1980s split. The original line-up reunited for a one-song performance in Liverpool in May 2023.
