About Billy MacKenzie
Billy MacKenzie was a Scottish singer and songwriter from Dundee whose remarkable range and dramatic phrasing defined the Associates. Working first with Alan Rankine, he helped turn art-pop, post-punk and electronic experimentation into records as exhilarating as “Party Fears Two” and Sulk.
